Yes! A builder’s warranty is for 6 years and in those 6 years, there is 2 years non structural warranty cover. The 6 years warranty insurance is only there if the builder dies, goes bankrupt, disappears or is in legal proceedings. Apart from this the builder is still liable while they are still trading and alive and well. To try an eliminate the chances of having a costly legal dispute and going to court in the future to battle it out, picking up issue now while your home is being built and having them rectified while your home is still under construction will save you headaches in the long run.
